Swedish Midsommar Celebration Join the Featherstone Flowers team as we decorate the traditional Swedish maypole with seasonal flowers and foliage before an evening of floral crowns, music, dancing, Swedish food and midsummer celebrations! Tickets are free, but booking is essential.

About the event
This June we are delighted to be supporting The Garden Festival and their Swedish Midsommar Celebration on Friday 19th June from 5.30 - 8.30pm at Oram's Arbour, Winchester, SO22 5BU.
Celebrate midsummer Swedish style!
Join us for a wonderful evening inspired by the Swedish tradition of Midsommar. Help the Featherstone Flowers team decorate the Swedish maypole using seasonal flowers and foliage. There will be a floral crown making opportunity for children and grown-ups, followed by traditional Swedish songs around the maypole performed by Stockbridge Primary School. Local folk duo, Confluence, will play Swedish music, with delicious meatballs and Swedish fika on sale from local Stuga Swedish Bakery, plus, Irish shanty music with ShantyHead to create a rousing end to the evening.
Bring a picnic, rugs or chairs and celebrate the longest day of the year with family and friends!
