Frequently Asked Questions
"Am I able to request specific flowers to be included in my bouquet?"
We carefully handpick the finest flowers from our fields for your wedding. Since we work in harmony with nature and her seasons, we cannot guarantee the availability of specific flowers. However, we assure you that the flowers will align with the colour palette you have chosen, and they will reflect our signature natural style.
"How many stems are in an event bucket of blooms?"
Every bucket comprises approximately 60 to 70 stems, thoughtfully curated to offer a well-balanced blend of focal flowers, filler flowers, textured elements, and foliage. With this diverse selection, you will have all the necessary components to craft naturalistic, garden-inspired arrangements that overflow with delightful scents, vibrant colours, and lively beauty.
"How many buckets do I need?"
The decision of how flower-filled you desire your wedding to be is entirely up to you! To determine the right amount, we recommend practicing the arrangements you wish to create. You have a few options for this: you could order a bucket from us in advance for a trial run, or you could cut stems from your garden to get a sense of how many you need to fill the vessels you'll be working with.
As a general guideline, we typically use between 3 and 5 stems for a bud vase and approximately 20 stems for a jam jar. Please keep in mind that jam jars require more flowers than you might expect to achieve a full and lush appearance. Experimenting beforehand will help you find the perfect balance and ensure your arrangements turn out exactly as you envision them.
"Can you help me decide how many flowers I need?"
Absolutely! We are more than happy to offer you a wedding consultation on site at the farm for a nominal fee of £50, which covers up to an hour of personalised guidance. During this time, we will discuss all of your ideas and preferences while taking a walk around our flower field. It's a wonderful opportunity for you to experience the beauty of the flowers we grow and understand the scale of our offerings. Please note that the flower selection in the field will be subject to the time of year you visit.
Following the consultation, we will provide you with a mood board, showcasing the flowers that will be in season in your chosen colour palette. Additionally, we will suggest a stem count for the arrangements you plan to create. This comprehensive information will ensure that you have all the tools you need to plan and design your dream wedding arrangements.
Are you open to visitors who want to see the flowers before making their selection?
Due to our location on a working farm, we regret that we cannot accommodate day-to-day visitors. However, we would be delighted to arrange a wedding consultation with you at a mutually convenient time. During this consultation, you will have the opportunity to experience the diverse array of flowers we grow. While we cannot guarantee the availability of any particular flower, we assure you that we will carefully select the very best blooms from our extensive variety for your special day. This way, you will get a sense of the quality and range of flowers we offer, ensuring a truly memorable and beautiful wedding celebration.
Do we have to collect the flowers from you or can you deliver them?
Either option is absolutely fine. You are welcome to collect from the farm, or we can arrange for the flowers to be delivered to you. For delivery the flowers will arrive with our trusted partners, Local Zero, who take huge pride in delivering the flowers safely and carefully to you. Our delivery radius is 50 miles from Stockbridge, Hampshire. Please just pop us a message if you would like to check your location is within our delivery area.
For a Saturday wedding we suggest having your buckets of flowers on the Thursday before, with the wedding party flowers on the morning of the wedding. Often couples collect the buckets of flowers from us on the Thursday and then have Local Zero deliver the wedding party flowers to you the morning of your wedding.
Please do consider if you have a large enough car if you are collecting your buckets of flowers, with suitable headroom, as some flowers are cut up to 1m long!
