These vibrant, delicate poppies are one of the most joyful crops we grow.

Sold in bunches of 15 stems, our Icelandic poppies arrive in a mixture of cracked buds and just-opened blooms. This helps ensure the best possible vase life and lets you enjoy the magic of watching them unfurl at home.

Each poppy is grown here on the farm and carefully picked at just the right moment, then wrapped simply in recyclable, home-compostable paper—no plastic, no fuss.

Please note:
Poppies are especially delicate and don’t last as long as some of our other stems. We recommend placing them in a cool room, away from direct heat or sunlight, and enjoying them for their fleeting beauty.

Delivery available up to 20 miles from the farm. Please select this at check-out.
Make sure the the vase you are going to use is sparkling clean.

Fill vase with fresh water.

Carefully remove the paper packaging around the flowers & place in your recycling.

Recut the stems at an angle (this increases the surface area the flower can drink through).

Cut the string around the stems and place flowers in your vase.

Change the water every other day

Recut the stems before placing flowers back in the clean water.

Position the flowers out of direct sunlight, sources of heat, draughts and ripening fruit for the longest vase life.

The cooler the room the longer your flowers will last.

Remove any wilting head as they go over. Some flowers naturally have a shorter vase life than others.
