Content: - The flowers and foliage available during the summer months - How to manage the heat with sourcing and conditioning during the summer - Building relationships with flower farmers - How to order and select the best flowers for events in the summer months - Planning and costing large urn arrangements - Demonstration of a large urn for summer events - Working out stem counts and recipes for large scale designs - Meadow Box demonstration and how the design can be scaled up - Creating your own meadow box - Working with planted material - Group installation Photograph opportunities: - The flower varieties available - Meadow Box design - Kokedama - Large group installation The course includes lunch and refreshments. Arrival is at 9:00 am for a 9:30 am start. Lunch will be served from 12:30 to 1:30 pm, and the course will end at 4:30 pm. You will take home your kokedama, meadow-box arrangement, and written course materials.

Cancellation Policy

Terms and Conditions for Courses and Workshops Cancellations by you • Cancellations made at least one month before the workshop will be refunded in full, less the deposit paid if applicable. • If you wish to cancel within one month of the course start date on any course, you will not be entitled to a refund. • If you have booked a course within one month of the start date, you will not be entitled to a refund. • We can not offer refunds for travel or accommodation costs that you may have incurred as a result of booking a course. • If you are unable to attend a class or classes due to illness, or for personal or professional reasons, you will not be entitled to a refund, extra tuition or to automatically transfer to another course. However, we will consider such action that we believe to be fair and reasonable. If alternative options are offered, there may be an additional charge. Cancellations by us • Courses and workshops have minimum attendance levels and may be cancelled if too few bookings are received. We reserve the right to amend or cancel courses. • If we cancel a course we shall endeavour to give you at least one week’s notice. You will have the option of transferring to another course or having a full refund of the fees, which we will return to you within three weeks. • We will not be liable for any losses (including, but not limited to, travel and accommodation costs) arising as a consequence of any modification or cancellation of courses or timetabling constraints as set out above, beyond the cost of the course fee. Food: Food is regularly served at our workshops and events. You are required to inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies at least 7 days prior to the event. Ideally at the time of booking.
