On Monday 19th October, we are delighted to be hosting a guided flower painting workshop with renowned local botanical artist Katy McIntyre Brown of Katy Botanicals, here at Featherstone Flowers.

Spend a relaxed afternoon immersed in seasonal flowers and botanical painting. We’ll begin in the flower field, where you’ll have time to explore the wide range of flowers in bloom and discover which varieties make particularly interesting subjects to paint, and why.

With guidance from our experienced horticultural team, you’ll harvest your own selection of stems to take back to the barn and use as inspiration for your painting.

Back in our floristry studio in the fifteenth-century Tithe Barn, we’ll pause for coffee and homemade cake while your flowers condition, before beginning with some gentle warm-up sketches with Katy.
