Saturday 28th September 1000 - 1300 Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature as you join us for a delightful morning at Featherstone's English Flower Company. You will have the rare opportunity to explore the entire three-acre flower field, where we will introduce you to the hundreds of different flowers we grow. We welcome all questions about our growing techniques and the reasons behind our choices. ​As you harvest your own flowers, we will be on hand to guide you in selecting the best blooms that are ready to be cut. Then, we will take the flowers to our picturesque fifteen-century barn to be conditioned in a while you enjoy a cup of coffee and a slice of cake. ​During this time, we will share our expert tips on how to condition flowers for maximum vase life and demonstrate the art of creating a beautifully balanced bowl arrangement using the best seasonal ingredients from the field. ​ Finally, you will have the opportunity to unleash your creativity and craft your own in the tranquil ambiance of the barn. You can choose to keep it for yourself or give it as a thoughtful gift to someone special. Bowl included. Session starts at 1000 and finishes at 1300. Meet at the barn for an introduction and coffees then we will walk to the field to harvest flowers. For those with limited mobility please contact us so that we make appropriate accommodations.
