Service Description

Growing Dahlias: A Hands-On Workshop Tuesday 7th October 10.00am - 13.00pm Join us in the flower field this October for a practical and inspiring session focused entirely on dahlias. We’ll explore our dahlia beds together, covering everything from choosing the right varieties and planting techniques to pinching, feeding, managing pests, and lifting and storing tubers for the winter. You’ll also learn how to harvest for the best vase life and how to care for your plants as the season comes to a close. There’ll be plenty of time for questions, and you’ll have the chance to cut a selection of dahlias to take home. You’ll also receive handouts packed with our favourite hints and tips to help you grow confidently at home. Weather permitting, most of the workshop will take place in the field, with a short welcome and wrap-up in the barn over tea, coffee, and homemade cake. Perfect for anyone looking to grow or improve their dahlias — whether for the garden or the vase.
